Milton and Reserve Plant Capabilities

Our two plants located in Milton, Wisconsin and Reserve, Louisiana offer commercial scale custom and toll manufacturing of products requiring alkoxylation, hydrogenation, cyanoethylation and hydro finishing. These plants can conduct reactions at up to 350oF and pressures up to 600 psi. Stainless steel, glass and titanium reactors range from 500 gallons to 10,000 gallons in size.

Air Products produces a wide range of alcohol alkoxylates, ether amines and ether amine derivatives including amphoterics, amine oxides, quats, alkoxylates and diamines. We maintain ISO 9001:2000 and RC 14001 certification at both our Milton Plant and Reserve Plant. Our commercial-scale process capabilities include the following batch manufacturing process unit operations:

Manufacturing Processes
Alkoxylation Dehydrogenation Liquid Ammonia Reactions Reduction, catalytic
Alkylation Esterification Methylation Reduction, chemical
Ammonolysis Ethoxylation Peroxidation
Quaternization Formylation Propoxylation
Cyanoethylation Hydrogenation
Please note that these processes include chemical reactions requiring high pressure and temperature. Tomah has particularly strong capabilities in scale-up and commercial scale cyanoethylation, hydrogenation and alkoxylation.

Both plants have tank storage facilities and can meet your custom blending needs. Your products can be delivered in drums, totes, tank trucks or tank cars from both our plants.

CAPABILITIES – MILTON PLANT
